Say Goodbye to Fruit Flies & Mosquitoes Forever - The Paper Towel Trick Changes Everything

Fruit flies seem to love summer as much as we do.

Fruit flies in particular are attracted to fruits and vegetables, but also attack potted plants and settle in moist soil.

It is not only annoying and disgusting to have fruit flies in your home, but they can also destroy your food and plants.

And at the rate of reproduction of these insects, it makes sense to get rid of them as quickly as possible.

Fortunately, you do not have to rush to your local supermarket to buy expensive chemicals to fix the problem. The solution is closer than you think!

Most of the items you will need are already in your kitchen. You just have to make a homemade fly trap as in the photo below.

You will need a cup. Fill it with one of the ingredients below and cover with cling film. Using a toothpick, poke several holes in the cling film and place the cup where the flies are most often found.

Like many people, fruit flies love red wine - or at least the smell of red wine. Mix ½ cup of red wine with ½ cup of water and pour it into the trap described above.

Place the cup where the flies are usually found and watch them enter the trap and drown in the liquid.

Apple cider vinegar

This is probably the best component because it is cheap and easy to find. Heat ½ cup of apple cider vinegar and add a few drops of liquid detergent. Mix well and pour into the trap.

The sweet smell of vinegar will attract flies and mosquitoes, and the cleaner will trap curious flies.

Leftover fruits and vegetables

Another very easy way to catch them is to use whatever attracts these insects.

Fill the cup with the remaining fruits and vegetables and you will get the same result as using liquid mixtures.

Milk, pepper and sugar

If you have expired dairy products, you can use some of them to trap. Heat 2 cups of milk and add 8 tablespoons of sugar and 4 tablespoons of pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, then pour the mixture into a flat bowl.

The flies will be attracted to the sweet smell and drown.

lemon oil

The scent of lemon can repel insects and fruit flies.

Add 10-15 drops of lemongrass oil or lemongrass oil to two cups of hot water. Then pour into a spray bottle and spray anywhere you see fruit flies.

paper funnel

You can also make a paper fly trap by rolling a sheet of paper into a cone. Place the smaller end in a glass or glass jar and make sure there is a small opening in the bottom of the funnel.

Put the "bait" in the glass and watch the flies enter without being able to get out...
