How to prepare Red Velvet Truffles

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and lightly grease a cake pan with a tablespoon of oil.

In a bowl, mix the cake mix with the water, oil, and eggs until smooth.

Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.

Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely.

Once cooled, crumble the cake until it resembles fine sand.

Gradually add the cream cheese to the crumbs, mixing until the mixture comes together and can be easily shaped by hand.

Form small, even-sized balls and freeze for 30 minutes to firm up.

Melt the white chocolate in the microwave or a double boiler.

Dip each ball in the melted chocolate until completely coated, then place it on a sheet of parchment paper to set.

Melt the red chocolate and drizzle it over the truffles in thin lines. Let them set completely.

Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer.
